Step 1. Account
If you don't have an account please make one before commencing. This will allow us to track your scissors and stay in touch.
Step 2. Payment
Payment is required before you send us your scissors. Payment also includes return freight from Japan. Chose the number of scissors you will be sending for maintenance and purchase the maintenance product here.
Step 3. Download Medical Sheet
Please download the medical check sheet below and fill it out, since symptoms vary each time, we ask that customers who have previously requested sharpening that you fill medical sheet out each time. Please make sure if handwriting the medical sheet that all wording is clear to the reader and ensure you double check your return address.

STEP 4. Send Us Your Tokami Scissors
Mailing out your scissors
When you have printed and filled out the medical check sheet, please enclose the medical sheet in the package you are sending your scissors in. Its best to put your scissors in the box they were purchased in. Send your scissors to the address below.

STEP 5. Shipping / Freight
After careful maintenance and sharpness we will return your scissors to the nominated address you provided on the medical sheet. For Australian and New Zealand clients please allow up to 4 weeks. For International clients please allow between 4 to 6 weeks.
True craftmanship
All processes including parts & materials are made in Japan. The main material used is special cobalt molybdenum steel, which makes the scissors sharp, much more durable than other standard steels, and resistant to wear and tear.
